The HearthKeeper Difference

We're built around one idea — that great care comes from real relationships, and real relationships take time and consistency.

Long visits, not quick check-ins

Every HearthKeeper visit is a full four hours. That’s a deliberate choice.

Four short, one-hour drop-ins can’t compare to one unhurried afternoon. With real time, a caregiver can help with everything that’s needed and actually be present — a shared meal, a walk, a good conversation — instead of rushing out the door to the next house.

It’s care that feels like a visit from someone who cares, because that’s exactly what it is.

The same familiar faces

Most agencies send whoever is available. Your loved one meets a stranger again and again.

HearthKeeper is different. Your family is cared for by a small team of just two or three caregivers who become familiar faces. For someone with memory concerns or a natural wariness of strangers, that continuity isn’t a luxury — it’s the whole point. Trust is built by showing up, the same person, week after week.

We treat caregivers well, so they stay

A caregiver who is rushed, underpaid, and stretched across a dozen clients can’t give your loved one their best. We refuse to run our company that way.

HearthKeeper pays caregivers well and offers stable, predictable hours and a manageable number of clients. That’s how we attract genuinely excellent people — and, just as importantly, how we keep them on your loved one’s care, instead of losing them to burnout and turnover.

A fair, flexible commitment

To guarantee the same caregivers week after week, we ask for a seasonal commitment — and we’ve designed it to be as fair to your family as it is to our caregivers. The commitment is what makes the consistency possible.

  • A 1-month satisfaction guarantee. No family should have to commit to a company they’ve never worked with. Your first month is risk-free — if it isn’t right, you’re not held to the term.
  • Protection when life changes. The commitment is waived in the moments families most fear — the passing of a loved one, an extended hospital stay, or a move into a long-term-care facility. Life’s hardest turns end the obligation, no questions asked.
  • Seasonal, quarter-aligned terms. Plans run to the end of the calendar quarter rather than a rolling clock. Aligning everyone’s plan is how we project our caregivers’ hours and keep the same familiar faces on your loved one’s care.
  • 30-day notice. Changes are never a surprise to either side.
